2011 proved to be a great season of racing with Pinky picking up 2 wins from the 5 races she entered and Plan C proving competitive in the last races of the year at Cadwell Park. Highlights video below. Full race reports here.

2011 was my second year racing in the stock hatch class B championship. After a winter spent refurbishing Pinky, my first victory at the opening round at Mallory was a better reward than I was expecting for my hard work! The second race at Cadwell was a little more like it when the rear wheel bearing failed while running 4th. All was quickly forgiven though after taking 2nd and then my second win round the Snetterton 200 circuit. Donnington was the last round before Amelia was born and proved a rather scrappy race. Knowing it was going to be my last for a while meant I perhaps wasn't concentrating as hard as I should have.
With Pinky in great condition and the racing on hold with Amelia's arrival I decided to put Pinky up for sale and she was soon snapped up. The original plan was to get an XR2i but impatience and a good deal got the better of me and Plan C was soon parked in the garage. I solid result at the end of season rounds at Cadwell proved her racing pedigree and we are now looking forward to a full 2012 seasons racing and maybe that first championship trophy!!

In 2010 we finished 6/25 in Class B with 117 points (scoring in 7/9 rounds entered as suffered engine failure for 2) with 126pts, 49/84 in overall standings - full table here
